Next week the 2010 United Nations Climate Conference otherwise known as the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) will begin in Cancún, Mexico.
The conference which begins on November 29th and lasts till December 10th aims to bring together nations from around the planet to address the vital issues outlined in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Following a major climate conference in Copenhagen last December as well as subsequent negotiations since then – the pressure is on to deliver binding action on climate change.
